The next two are from an ongoing project I'm doing that I may tell you about soon ;)  I'm pretty excited about it!


I also have been drawing more nudes - I feel like if I want to draw with real distinction and detail, in traditional art or more cartoony stuff, I should get to know the human body. That being said, I understand that not everybody agrees with this, so I'm going to stick those under a cut on my entries. Guess I'm excited about sketching today. Tried a new technique for drawing the human profile. Kinda fun!

I have this funny tendency to sketch portraits of imaginary people at this angle. Maybe I'm afraid of drawing right eyes...

So, being as boring and totally sane as you all know I am, I have thought since the age of mmmm maybe 14 that doing a self-portrait in candy would be a good idea - which it TOTALLY is.

But, since my best friend's birthday was coming up and she happens to be the type of person that gives others cavities just by giggling, I figured that she would be a better subject for this kind of medium.
